Strategy & Opportunity
The Strategy & Opportunity domain. 1 framework in this family. Each is graded honestly; see the evidence model for the tiers.
These frameworks work on the outside game: not how to frame or decide a bounded problem, but where the opportunity is and whether a direction survives a world that refuses to be predicted. The shared move is to stop treating the future as one forecast to optimize against and start treating it as a space - of forces outside your control, of plausible and divergent worlds - then prefer moves that hold up across that space over bets on one reading of it. Reach here once a problem is framed and options exist, to pressure-test direction before committing to it.
| Framework | Evidence | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Scenario Planning (2x2) | P | Produces a scenario set, 2-4 contrasting and internally consistent short narratives of alternative external futures named by two critical-uncertainty axes, plus a robustness read of the strategy across the worlds (which moves survive every world, which early signals show which world is arriving, which options to keep open). |
Not sure which of these fits your situation? The Framework Advisor will diagnose the job and recommend a minimal sequence.
